Use Bandmixr in Claude and ChatGPT

Check, master and mix your songs without leaving the chat. The Bandmixr studio opens right in the conversation.

Add Bandmixr

  • Claude: open Settings, then Connectors, choose Browse connectors and add Bandmixr.
  • ChatGPT: open the apps directory, search for Bandmixr and connect it.

Check or master a song

Ask to check your mix or to master your song. The studio opens in the chat: drop your song, read the report on loudness, peaks, stereo image and tonal balance, and hear a 30-second mastered preview next to the original. The check runs on your device; only the 30-second clip goes to Bandmixr. To master the whole song, connect your Bandmixr account.

Mix your stems

Ask to mix your song and say what it is, for example "a trap beat with my vocals". Upload your stems in the studio. Bandmixr guesses what is on each stem: play any stem you are not sure about, fix the labels (or tell the assistant, "Track 12 is my lead vocal") and press "Labels are correct". The draft, the final mix and the master then run by themselves, and you compare the original, the mix and the master in the chat.

Change the mix

After listening, say what to change, for example "vocals a bit louder, less reverb on the guitar, mute the shaker", or press "Change the mix" in the studio to set the volume, mute, reverb and pan of each stem. Bandmixr then makes the mix and the master again. The new version replaces the earlier one made in the chat; versions you downloaded stay.

Download

Your files are on the song page on bandmixr.com, like every song you make on the website. The studio has a button that opens it.

What the assistant sees

Song titles, stem file names and labels, the progress of your mixes and the analyzer's measurements. Never your audio: the studio sends your files straight to Bandmixr.

Disconnect

On your Account page under Connected apps, or by removing Bandmixr in the assistant. Its access ends at once.

  • Master my song for Spotify.
  • Mix my stems. It's a trap beat with my vocals.
  • Track 12 is my lead vocal, the three Vox files are backing vocals.
  • Make the vocals a bit louder and mute the shaker.
